Cancer Care and Infusion Unit Inaugurated at Simplicio A. Palanca Medical Arts Building

Bacolod City, June 12, 2024 – Today marks a significant milestone in the journey of providing compassionate and Christ-centered healthcare. The Cancer Care and Infusion Unit, located on the 6th floor of the Simplicio A. Palanca Medical Arts Building, has been officially blessed and dedicated.

The dedication ceremony was graced by Pastor Simeon Rodrigo, who offered a heartfelt dedicatory prayer for the team members of the department. Dr. Bevan Ali Geslani and Dr. Norman Cabaya, pivotal figures in the funding and daily operations of the unit respectively, delivered their responses, highlighting their commitment to the cause.

The event saw a gathering of esteemed guests, including administrators, nursing managers, staff, and friends, led by Dr. Sherwin Lowe Rodrigo, President and Medical Director of Bacolod Adventist Medical Center (BAMC). Their presence underscored the community’s support and dedication to enhancing cancer care services in the region.

The Cancer Care and Infusion Unit aims to offer comprehensive cancer care, integrating advanced medical treatments with compassionate, patient-centered support. This new facility underscores the commitment of BAMC to serve the community with high-quality healthcare services.
