“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”, thus BAMC missionaries left all papers and stuff at the hospital and grabbed their sports attire to attend the first-ever CPUC Physical Fitness Fellowship at Central Philippine Adventist College last October 31-November 1, 2022.
This activity was conceptualized at CPUC office when the pandemic started and workers enjoyed an indoor table tennis game. It was finally put into an official event of the Conference to unite workers and at the same time, have fellowship with sister institutions.
Each day is being opened with a devotional program. On the final day, BAMC sponsored the said religious meeting with Dr. Sherwin Lowe Rodrigo, BAMC President, as the speaker. He emphasized that the Physical Fitness Fellowship not just focuses on the physical aspect of the workers but also to the social, mental and spiritual aspect, thus, approaching a wholistic growth. He quoted Luke 2:52 as the main text that morning.
There were several ballgames included in the event – basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton, and table tennis. BAMC grabbed the champion title to the overall game events.
It would also be considered as “family days” to workers since children also attended the program. Administrators were also spotted at CPAC – to mention, Ma’am Guinevere Gail Alipo-on, HR Director, Ma’am Loren Ylaya, VP – Nursing, and Mr. Bill Ray Ragudo, VP Finance and Operations, came to support and cheer our workers.
Indeed, unity, enjoyment and fellowship were among BAMC employees during the course of the event. It surely was an unforgettable experience to every Tribu BAMCinian.
