In celebration of Global Handwashing Day, Adventist Medical Center-Bacolod held a special event today, October 15, 2025, highlighting the importance of proper hand hygiene in promoting health and preventing disease.
As part of the celebration, the hospital, together with supporting partners such as SCPA, also distributed hygiene kits containing soap, alcohol, hand sanitizers, and wipes to both employees and clients, encouraging continuous practice of proper handwashing techniques beyond the workplace.
Hospital staff, patients, and visitors participated in the activity, reinforcing the critical role hand hygiene plays in everyday health.
The initiative reflects Adventist Medical Center-Bacolod’s commitment to holistic care, health education, and disease prevention within the community.
