From January 13-18, 2025, the employees of Adventist Medical Center (BAMC) were filled with spiritual revival and inspiration during its Week of Prayer. The event featured Pastor Rudy Baloyo, former Executive Secretary of the Southern Asia-Pacific Division. The theme for the week was focused on the “Living the Fruit of the Spirit,” a vital teaching from Galatians 5:22-23 that emphasizes the importance of Christian virtues in the life of believers.
Each day of the Week of Prayer was dedicated to one aspect of the Fruit of the Spirit. Pastor Baloyo delved into how these attributes should be manifested in daily life, especially in the challenging environment of the healthcare setting where BAMC staff and visitors are constantly interacting with people in need of care, comfort, and support. He emphasized that, as Christians, it’s crucial to embody these qualities not only in times of peace but also during moments of trial, stress, or conflict.
