Operation Smile returns to Bacolod to provide free reconstructive surgery to impoverished children with cleft lip and palate defects, restoring their genuine smiles.
A total of 71 patients with cleft lip and palate defects are to benefit from the free surgery made available by the Operation Smile Philippines Foundation Inc. and HOPE Volunteers Foundation, Inc. here in partnership with Adventist Medical Center – Bacolod. The medical-surgical mission started on November 6 – 11, 2022 at BAMC.
After surgery, patients can finally start a new life—one that is stigma-free and full of hope for a better future.
