As a kick-off activity to the Anniversary event of the hospital this December, there has been a medical mission that took place last December 4, 2022 – the annual Kabalikat Program of BAMC – at the Negros Occidental Conference Convention Center. It halted due to the pandemic; however, after 2 years, BAMC doctors and employees are delighted once more to serve the community of Purok 5, Brgy. Taculing with the following figures:
Adult (medical cases) – 55 patients
Pediatric patients – 28
Dental patients – 25
Circumcision – 14 patients
Minor surgery – 6 patients
RBS/Blood typing – 53 patients
The said activity started with a devotional message given by Pastor Job Minasalvas, head chaplain, and opened with a remark from the VP Medical Affairs, Dr. Ramesis Acosta. Lectures from BAMC doctors about health were also conducted.
The whole program was supervised by Ma’am Luz Casas the assistant department manager of the Health and Lifestyle Institute (HLI) and has been participated by several BAMC missionaries as a part of the community and social responsibility.
